Our Path

Check out our “path” as we travel around the globe!  Our journey begins from our home in beautiful British Columbia’s Vancouver!

Vancouver – London – Malta – Turkey – UAE – Oman – Jordan – Israel – Sri Lanka – Malaysia – SIngapore – Thailand – Laos – Cambodia – Vietnam – Hong Kong – Bali, Indonesia – Japan – China – Maldives

October 9th marks our first flight of the year!  We will be traveling with Russell’s parents, Rina and Mario, to London for 2 days and then down to Malta to spend some much needed time with family on one of the most important historic (albeit tiny) countries in the world!  Check out the Blog – Travel section to learn more!

Next Stop – Turkey!  Istanbul, to be precise.  We arrive in Istanbul November 4th.  On November 7th we fly to the coast of Turkey (Dalaman) and drive to the beach town of Marmaris for some relaxation.  Then we drive up to Kusadasi for a few days and fly to Cappadocia to finish our time in Turkey.

After Turkey we head to Abu Dhabi & Dubai until December 22nd.

December 22nd we drive across the border to Oman to visit Wadi Shab and relax in Sur for 3 days.

December 25th we fly to Jordan and explore the sites here until December 31st when we cross the land border to Israel.

We will stay in Israel until January 4th when we head back to Jordan for 2 days.

Then it’s off to Sri Lanka!  Meghan can’t wait to wear shorts again.

After Sri Lanka we will be touring Southeast Asia – beginning in Malaysia.  After Malaysia we will go to Singapore and then back through Malaysia to Thailand.

We will spend 36 days in Thailand and then take a slow boat along the Mekong to Laos.  We will bus southward through Laos to Cambodia and then cross to Vietnam.

We leave Vietnam to meet Meghan’s parents in Hong Kong and Macau (yay!  Faces from home!)

When we say goodbye to Meghan’s parents we are heading to Bali, Indonesia for one month.

We leave paradise and the beach momentarily for Japan!  In Japan we will tour around for 2 weeks before flying to Beijing, China.

After China we will spend some time in Maldives.
